Overstrand village, Norfolk

Overstrand is a village on the north Norfolk coast, 2 miles east of the popular seaside resort of Cromer. In years gone by Overstrand was a fishing village and although this tradition still continues, it is not on the same scale as before. Overstrand has a number of shops and amenities including a village store, post office, public house, restaurant and fishmongers. There is a lovely sandy beach at Overstrand that is accessible by a rather steep slope, a children’s play area and a café that is open all year round, serving delicious home cooked food.
